Douglas is Burn’s Commercial Director, leading on all the company’s carbon discussions. He joined the company in February 2025 having spent the last 3 years working with a variety of carbon & climate technology businesses including leading the commercial operations for Sylvera & Abatable and co-founding an emissions data business focused on commercial real-estate retrofitting.
Douglas has over 30 years’ experience scaling data & software vendors within financial markets, the support services sector and leading technology resellers. He has worked for several major Corporates, such as Reuters, Dow Jones & American Express, as well as private equity and venture backed portfolio companies.
