Emmanuel Adegboye leads Madica, a structured investment program supporting pre-seed stage startups led by underrepresented founders across Africa. With a rich background in entrepreneurship, urban innovation, and tech ecosystems, he previously led Africa strategy for Utopia and launched initiatives like the Lagos Urban Innovation Challenge.
Emmanuel has extensive experience building high-impact technology programs, including at Andela and Venture Garden Group, and brings deep insights into Africa’s entrepreneurial and policy landscape. A 2021 Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellow at Chatham House, he actively contributes to shaping digital economy policy through platforms like the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and the Nigeria Startup Act.
He holds degrees in Engineering Physics, Environmental Management, and Space Applications, as well as an Executive MBA and Project Management certification. Emmanuel is passionate about empowering founders solving Africa’s biggest challenges.
