His Excellency Francis Danti Kotia is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. A seasoned diplomat and accomplished public servant, Ambassador Kotia brings decades of experience in international relations, diplomacy, and governance to his current role.
Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Kotia held various senior positions in Ghana’s diplomatic and governmental institutions, including roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
He has represented Ghana in numerous bilateral and multilateral engagements, demonstrating a deep commitment to fostering international cooperation, sustainable development, and economic diplomacy.
In the Netherlands, Ambassador Kotia plays a pivotal role in strengthening Ghana-Netherlands relations, promoting investment, trade, and cultural exchange, and representing Ghana’s interests at key international platforms, including the International Court of Justice and other institutions in The Hague.
Ambassador Kotia is a dedicated advocate for Africa’s development and integration into the global economy and continues to contribute to global dialogues on diplomacy, peacebuilding, and climate resilience.
