Martin leads ITC’s tech sector development initiatives, supporting over 300 startups and SMEs across ten sub-Saharan African countries. He manages the $15M NTF V program, driving tech growth in countries like Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, and Senegal, in partnership with local associations and companies.
Previously, Martin was the sherpa to ITC’s former Executive Director at the EU-African Union Digital Economy Task Force. He also spearheaded ITC’s Digital Entrepreneurship Support strategy and launched the FastTrackTech project in seven African countries. With a background in international business, Martin has worked on major projects in Africa, Central Asia, and Bangladesh, helping foster digital transformation and sustainable growth through technology.
